I'm so impressed by the fall 2012 graduation collection of Central Saint Martin and especially by Craig Green. It reminds me of a new kind of minimalistic nomads from the 21st century. When I look at the accessories and the neckline of the tops I think he was inspired by the Middle east. I can't wait for the next collection, in the meantime, check his previous collection here!

BeantwoordenVerwijderenYikes, I didn't really like any of the designers in the show. I wasn't impressed, at all. I thought everyone was just trying way too hard to be shocking, nothing was wearable (which is totally fine) if there seems to be inspiration behind it, or there is some sort of substance. I just felt like it was unwearable after unwearable look for no reason. Almost like every designer was trying to outdo the other for the ~~craziest look~~

VerwijderenWell I think it was very interesting en sometimes it's even more interesting to look for the inspiration yourself. In my opinion Graig does an amazing job to get inspired by the North african or Middle east men in London in a scary time where the difference between the people and immigrants became bigger and bigger. Where they almost live apart from each other in own area's in the city.
But well that's what makes fashion interesting, different views and different opinions.
